talked with a guy a couple weeks ago that said they are slaying the sauger below Mcalpine dam.Other than that I've not heard a thing.

I have before and would certainly like to again if I can catch them in the tailwaters with the water level down on a day I won't freeze anything off while I'm down there!Wouldn't dream of going on a day like today!
