Rough season this year. No deer. ( Sorry contest partners... I'm usually good for one or two)
Who else is looking for the right broth to boil their tags in?

Bundle tag soup also. 1 yearling doe in 2011 out of / 18 seasons. Still won't give up. I was satisfied with sightings while on stand which is a plus, a couple were spooked as I was on time limited sits.

I am. Had an opportunity at a button buck and a little bitty doe but chose to pass on both. Thought this season was going to be great, put in a nice lush food plot and tried to keep pressure down. Last year I saw deer every sit but a few and this year I saw deer fewer times that I didn't last year. Not sure if it was the neighbor getting new duck ponds put in through fall, my new food plot, weather being too warm? Just wasn't seeing the deer. Oh I take it back slightly if I did see deer they were literally 5 feet off of my property line on the neighbors.

Filled my freezer with one buck, but it was hard work. Lots of hours in the blind/ stand/ground pounding with few results. Ain't it fun though? Come on October......

It's looking like it for me. I do have access to some urban/deer reduction ground though so I may get at least one. Never hunted the ground before but have had permission, more less multiple invites, for several years now. Been a tough season for me and I had to sacrifice a lot of hunting time this year. Haven't visited the site much either so my apologies.

For the 5th straight season ive ate my buck tag. The taste gets nastier every year lol.
Did end up with a doe in archery and a doe in gun. The wife also added a buck to the freezer.
My goal is to fill my bundle every year and be done. With the wife getting more into it every year that will change as my family only needs 3 deer a year. Ideally thats 2 bucks and a doe!

No big buck, but I did get 2 for the freezer!
Lookin' forward to Spring! Bluegill are a pretty sure thing, and they're not nearly as hard to load up into the truck!

I am eating a couple tags but that's after I ate a doe so it's not as bitter.

I am, but it is lightly seasoned with an 18 year old lifetime license. I'm quite sure that I have gotten my $$$ worth. It was the third season since 1989 that I have been skunked and it really does not bother me. I battled the weather, work, kids' activities, and ill parents. Hell, I was lucky to get out the few times that I actually did.
At least I can fish during work. The boss owns a decent lake that ia conveniently located to one of our main projects. I can cast between texts & calls.

Me. Had a near chance at a decent buck. He was coming my way, but then stopped and didn't come out of the brush.
Pulled camera card later in the week and found out he was 30 yards or so from my spot the morning before, a day where I wasn't able to go out.

I am as well. But it's still fun sitting in the woods. Also buying a house through out the fall made things hectic. We're closing Friday on 20 acres and a 60x80 pole barn. Seller took a 17pt buck off the property this year, so next year will good.

I started Deer Hunting back in 1972 and it was five years before I bagged my first Deer. Last time I had "Tag Soup" was back in 1984. Since then I've bagged at least one Deer/season, with my highest bag being four to six Deer in two different States. Now days I just take one Deer/year.

left a lot of tags unused but on my ltl so no green out of my pocket! Still time to duck and goose hunt so that I don't have to eat my federal duck stamp.
Like some already stated. I have limited days to hunt due to life in general so glad to have been able to get out and enjoy what I can

I'm eating both my doe tags but I always eat at least 2 tags anyway so nothing new.The 15 pointer makes up for it though. I always get all 3 tags and am lucky to use 1.

Officially I am since my deer came from a Park hunt, but like others have said, my LL means my soup is free.
