The other tread about number or deer taken got me to thinking about this. Racks on the wall of my fireplace, office, bedroom and garage represent a buck about every other year. Only 8 are shoulder mounts. I still find it hard to pass a 120's buck on public land. Ill post my estimate later. Whats your estimate?

At least 120 inches combined total. But not sure all of mine have become chew toys for dog or given to friends.

I have no idea the inches of antler. I have 4 shoulder mount deer. 1st is a 10 pt in 1987 and taxidermy by someone just south of Fort Wayne. The other 3 are 13/10/8 pointers that I was the taxidermy. I saved last years 10 pointer. All the other bucks are long gone.

That in itself is impressive, the nice bucks you take is just an added bonus. I've got two shoulder mounts and a few euro mounts on a piece of barnwood. Have no idea about inches as I'll never have them scored, but I sure like the looks of them and even more the memories they bring back.

I have no idea whatsoever. I have racks scattered here and there, and I'm sure I have lost some along the way.

Man, I'd have a hard time passing a 120 period! Right now a spike is looking good to me. This would get us back in second place.

I had the first antlered deer I killed shoulder mounted and scored at the D&T Expo the next year. He is a 10 point 134" gross, 128 & 3/8" net 6 year old with a 26 & 7/8" neck (measured under his chin) taken during a sustained 30 mph wind. That was my 3 rd deer in 4 days during a time when what I shot truly was the only thing I had to put on the table. He stayed in my freezer until tax time and my taxidermist worked on nothing but him for 3 weeks. His wife hated me because I filled his annual down time between deer and fish. The man used a 3 bristle paint brush to re-gray each whisker, and a quart can of bondo to build the form up enough for the pelt to fit properly. Beyond that, I have a tub full of antlers that I never considered having scored. Memories for me aren't determined by a tape measure. I do have a 7 point that might make 80" that won me a big buck contest at work. I don't remember the year, but it was so intensely cold that only 2 of us hunted enough to kill deer and the other guy got a 5 point.

Ive only had 2 officially scored. 157" gross 10 point and a 144" gross 9 point that only had a 14" spread. So I'm not sure. I've got 7 shoulder mounts and a bunch of Euros. Any more the I prefer the Euros over a shoulder mount. There was a thread similar to this on another site I'm on, but the stipulations were if your biggest 5 added up to 700" or more. It was interesting to see guys deer.

I have a number of antler mounts. Best one are hanging on my walls, with the lesser ones in a box.

Ditto on davers post, most in boxes in pole barn, think there are 3 boxes of racks. Most smaller being a meat hunter.
