I actually bought my Millennium stands from Rural King too .... love the M100 just not for bowhunting. I can see how trying to shoot sitting down from the full chair can be challenging. I have done it before, but the deer haven't been at tough angles. I usually try to stand when I shoot, anyway.

I never shoot sitting down ... but I find that style seat challenging to stand from and I dont like the shape of the platform on the original M100's that I have. Gets pretty narrow at the back.

My friend uses his climber to hang stands. He simply climbs to just below the height he wants, pulls the stand up with a rope, and attaches it. He even mounts screw in steps and climbing sticks on the way down the tree. I've never done it, be he said it is easy and, most of all, safe. This is how I do it. If it is in a straight tree no better way imho. If crooked tree or a lot of limbs I climb up with steps first. Tie off and use a screw in step to lift stand to and hang on as I get straps around tree.
