My good friend scored on a giant non typical last night in Switzerland County. Gross score is alittle over 200". I have shared pics with Woody and a few members but hunter is not wanting pics released to general public just yet. He is a Pro staffer for TV show and has sponsors to contact and some obligation's to attend to. (I have seen the footage and it is unbelievable.) We have been watching this buck all summer and he has trail cam pics from late April and throughout the summer. Some measurements are 19.5' inside spread, 24 plus inch main beams. Over 40" of non typical points , base mass measurements in excess of 6". This is a once in a lifetime buck and biggest I have put my hands on. Hope to be able to get permission to release pics sometime first next week. He was hunting trail's leading to a food source. (Bean field) when buck showed up along with a doe and a smaller 8 point. Heart shot the deer at approx. 18 yards. Buck went down in about 80 yards. Its a well deserved harvest by a really good guy who lives for deer hunting. Cant tell you the number of hour's he puts in to improve his property for deer. I helped establish a 4 acre alfalfa field for him last year which turned out great. He also planted 6 acres of forage soybeans this summer along with couple acres turnips this fall. He has turned his home farm into a deer factory.

Interesting tidbit. The buck appears to have been injured at some point in his life as he walked with a slight limp. We did not notice anything when skinning the buck out though. Buck first showed up this spring. Had not seen him in previous years.

Michael Chambliss ยท First of all I need to thank my land partners, who are awesome, Rodney Brown and Buddy Stafford. This is your sweat and hardwork also my friends! Last night I had the hunting privilege of a lifetime, to own property, take care of the animals thru land management and harvest a mature deer, making everything we do worth it. What an incredible experience! We named this buck "Stumpgrinder" for a reason, rough scores 201+/- non-typical, what a giant. I had great friends, Rodney Brown (camera man), Patrick Simpson,Matt Cocco and Mike Meisberger helping in the recovery, taking pictures of this amazing animal and sport. Mike, thanks for all the help getting the fields in great shape and Patrick for the RWWS soybeans that Stumpgrinder took refugee in and around, along with killing the RWWS Maximizer mineral thru the summer. I am so incredibly humbled that this giant called our 9 Ridges Farm....HOME, what an honor he gave us. One more big thanks to Rod Notestine, owner of Treelimb quivers and Sword sights, you're the best. We have 100s of trailcam pics, cellphone video and numerous sightings that he gave to us as landowners! One last thanks, to my wife, Beth Jackson Chambliss and family for staying patient and understanding while I do the one thing that I have a lifetime passion for..... Chasing big bucks!!!

Congratulations! I can't believe that you guys have been watching it all year, but haven't shared it with us all year. We like photos. You need to be careful sharing deer pictures. Where my uncle hunts in PA the neighbor was posting some nice pictures and now they suddenly have a lot more competition around them.

That's a cool buck. 15 points?
I've handled a 199" buck that a co-worker shot. Pictures just don't do justice once a deer reaches that size.
