Not surprised with the lack of rain. Hope it rained enough last night to wash out my dry creek bed.

I'm not sure if the area I hunt could handle another 2012 like EHD hit. I think now it's around 90% back with deer, but the number of 4 plus year olds are still low. I have not seen any dead one's yet. I will be out this weekend.

The area I hunt in IL has had ample rain, crops look good and I've seen no signs of EHD. Not hard to tell when it becomes a problem, you will smell the carcasses and find them laying on pond and creek banks.
