High of 70, low of 50 for Switzerland Co Saturday and Sunday. Plus the new moon, love it. Deer should be on their feet in the mornings and evenings. Seen a big buck with a kid next to it on facebook today from switzerland co. It was nice. Hoping to see good movement when I check my cam tomorrow.

I have a love hate relationship with the cold weather. I love it because it's that time of the year. I hate it because snow will be here soon.

Someday I want to track a deer in the snow, and I hope I'm the one who shot it. LOL I've always liked snow, but in my earlier life, I had winter sports. Now that I don't have to work, I seem to like it even more ...looking at it from a window by my fireplace.

Yes sir, I enjoy looking at the snow through my window as well. However as soon as I have to go out in it for anything other than hunting I strongly dislike it.

I love hunting in the snow, down south we don't seem to get much anymore. You can see forever with snow on the ground and leaves down.

I hunted during a snowfall once last season and I must agree it's a beautiful sight.

My sister shot her first buck a couple years ago in a rare southern Indiana November snow.

I like it because it's so peaceful and quiet, I sat in my blind one time and it started snowing with no wind, just coming straight down. I can honestly say I never wanted to get down, but it got dark.

You southern guys are funny. Sometimes we get 1-3' of snow in mz season due to lake effect. Thats fun!

O.K. all you southern guys that want to hunt deer in the snow. Next time it's knee or thigh deep I'll give y'all a shout to come up to hunt. You will get over the "I love the snow" thing real fast. Same when it's -5°F or -10°F and snowing with a 10 mph wind. Come on up and sit from an hour before sunrise to noon.......
Now 1 to 3 inches of snow, 28°F-30°F and no wind? Perfect!!!

No thanks, said I like a LITTLE snow, didn't say anything about 0°. Do not like it that cold. Got a MC buddy who lives in Michigan close to the UP. Close as I wanna get to cold is talking on the phone with him when he's got 4-5 feet of snow on the ground.

We deer hunt in Wisconsin within walking distance of the UP, and since the season starts the Saturday before Thanksgiving, we are only up there for 4-6 days. Can't sit inside if it's cold out, not enough days to hunt.

I don't want to have your snow just a few inches maybe, enough to make my steps loud and trailing a deer easier

Snow is good to have on the ground - when the leaves are off the trees and the ground is white, you can see deer moving through the woods a long way sway.
