Negative. An official point must meet or exceed an inch in length. says who?? Woody says. It's in our contest rules. I've been wondering about this though. The split G2 buck coming around has one side that may not exceed 1" from the base. However, the G2 looks thicker there than anywhere else on it. I'm sure there is an official scoring rule for situations like this, but I'm not thinking I really need to know ...I might have to change my name if I did.

We still haven't even seen the deer! I think it's a bluff!!! Go to www.smallacrehunting.com if you wanna see it so bad . Gonna share entire story as soon as done writing it and putting the video together for it as well. I don't have any of the good pics uploaded to photobucket in order to link here. It's on the home page to the right. Not a good image to see his nub "point" on his right beam which could infact "hold a ring" but it isn't a point.

There is also a stipulation in B&C and P&Y that in addition to being an inch long, a scoreable point cant be wider at its base than it is long. In other words, If a point is 1 inch long and one and 1/8 inches wide at its base, it's not a scoreable point.

Please put team 3 Kevinhunter down for a antlerless BB 10/27/2016 Morgan County PM Crossbow. Had to make a switch this early season to a crossbow due to a little shoulder and rib injury while enjoying my other passion motorcycle XC racing! 😜 Still lil sore:banged up and can't pull my regular compound bow back comfortably! I'm really enjoying learning a new method of deer hunting and shooting though! FUN! Pic to follow! Thanks Woody!
