Well I hunted all last week and got one shot off that missed a doe at 200 yards. Other than that I haven't seen anything to shoot during legal hours. Plenty of deer before shooting time and after shooting time. They just don't stay long enough or get there soon enough. Had a spike first day of ML season but he got a pass. Hopefully I will be able to help our team out.

bullseye69, this is what they look like! LOL Woody, would you please upgrade the buck from Wi. to this one from Indiana? The G2 on the right side is broke off, and that happened a while ago because the nub is rubbed so much the broken piece is rounded off. It's a wide rack, 22" wide. .45 cal Savage ML-II gets it done again! He's a lot bigger in person than what it looks like in the picture, body wise I mean. Yes, he's skinny, but LONG. Light brown fur too, not the dark brown/grey that they usually are this time of the year. Thanks!

Get out in this cold, but remember when that bullet pierces the heart of the deer know you stuck a dagger in the heart of Geezers. It will be painful. I for one will shed a tear.

Please add a doe for team 3. Love hunting in the snow. She snuck in behind where nothing was supposed to come. If it wasn't for the snow I would have never seen her. I had to take a freehold shot with my nondominate hand at 60 yds broadside as she stared me down. I immediately got down , due to the hard snow, to look for blood and found no blood or hair and gave up moved to a different standand hunted for another three hours. On the way out I was looking for tracks and fresh sign and happened to look up and see her laying on the side of the hill. Was a perfect double lung shot, about an inch lower than the spine

I don't want to start teaching it any bad habits. LOL

Score 2 Does and an 8 point buck for Team Boneheads (team 17). I believe that's 23 points for Scott. Been a little lax on posting when I get one... can't get on at work anymore (which is were I used to do most of my posting to kill the lunch hour), due to our LAME new web filter!!!! That and I'm a cheapskate and am sill rocking a flip phone. Anyway... The buck was from opening day of Firearms. Sorry for the poor photos, dark garage with bad lighting and being dark outside. The first doe was from Thanksgiving Day morning. The second doe was from the second Saturday of Muzzleloader, a redemption from the week before when I missed a chip shot on a big old fat doe. Shot at ~125 yards which is probably the longest shot I've taken in the last 5 years as I most of my other stand locations only offer shots to about 65 yards. Good hunting this year gents! Scott
