Kind of a slow start, but score 1 limb chicken for Team #1 LCB! Saw 3, got shots at all three. Missed one clean, dropped one from a pignut hickory, but it took off and got in a hole before I could get a second shot. Shot the one above at about 10 am. Nice young female. It was a read head, DRT! maddog

I don't see how you shoot them with that thing with so many leaves. Heck I have trouble seeing them when I can hear them in the tree.

It's easier to sneak up and catch them off guard when they can't see you as easy, some really tight shots and more challenging than using a shotgun .

I used to use a Crossman 25 pump BB gun, so I am going back to my young years and using an air pellet rifle with 4 x 20 scope. When I get a few I will post the pellet gun. I sited to up to 50 yards last night. That should do it.

There is something about seeing these posted harvests that makes one want to get in the woods.

I have to wait until Sunday afternoon. My father-in-law turns 80 tomorrow and a wedding Saturday starting at noon and ending sometime in the evening.

What's holding you back? honeydos I started putting cement clapboards on last year, but didn't get very far. I've been working on it since spring, and hope to finish by Oct. 1, but a bit worried about that date.

LOL Man, they can get lost in a hurry in all the leaves. I gotta get my eyes checked before deer season. I don't lose sleep over missing a squirrel, but...
