I grew up in Indiana and cut my teeth hunting in Indiana. I still occasionally return to hunt or fish with old friends. I have a standing offer to them. I also will make standing offer via this forum. As I know going to hunt a new area can be fun. I now live on gulf Coast in southern alabama. I am in heaven as saltwater fishing really is what I'm really addicted to. Hunting is just a fun side project these days. Anyways I have my own center console boat. Having a boat means I can access some really great public areas to hunt along gulf Coast. One place in particular is the mobile/tensaw delta near mobile, Alabama. The mobile/tensaw Delta Has the highest concentration of hogs east of the Mississippi River. Absolutely loaded with hogs and some are brutes. It's a jungle and a fun place to hunt bUT beware it is rough swampy terrain. If anyone up north back in indiana ever makes it down to coast. And your interested in going hog hunting in the delta than give me a shout. This is NOT A PAID GUIDED HUNT. This is just a sportsman that believes in Karma, or the golden rule. Offering to help someone from Indiana go hog hunting on gulf Coast. Respond via forum, pm or email me at livewildforlife@gmail.com
FYI I'll have to vet your not a killer or to nuts before you step foot on the boat. No offense but can't be too careful these days.

Psalm23-you are a true sportsman!!! As most oldtimers on here would probably tell you I have loved to hunt hogs for decades but just don't get the opportunity that much. I had a place in S. Indiana for awhile but that has dried up. We also have been going to Beaufort, SC on vacation in the fall for many years and I have had the opportunity to hit the palmettos there for piggies. I would extend my invitation to you to come hunt my little piece of heaven family property for squirrel, turkey and deer in hopes that I could also sometime work in a hunt/fish trip down your way. We usually take my johnboat down to Beaufort (Sam's Point area)and hit the salt marsh creeks for drum, trout, flounder and anything else that we can take under a popping cork-we really look forward to these trips every year!! I've managed to get down to the Savannah Wildlife refuge a couple of times for crossbow hogs but only on short day trips which haven't produced anything yet. Woodbury WMA has produced some hogs for me in the early spring though and that's actually my preferred time to go after feral pigs. Welcome in to this site and hope to see more of your posts!!! Hmm...I've got a BIL in Atlanta that we haven't visited for awhile...hmmmm....

I'd like to go hunt wild boar, did anybody meet this man? Or can you recommend a place to hunt for a boar?

I have bookmarked this thread. I do not have any vacation available for this year but will keep you in mind for next year. When would be the best time for an old man to come down to hunt? I do not want to get eaten by a gator but love.to eat them. Would that be a pozsibility? Hunting gater? Do not need a monster. Gater hunting is on the bucket list Might look in to bringing the camper and camping close to hunt and fish.
Thank you for the offer.
