I hit my public land spot this evening and I am very pleased with what I saw. Besides being thick and over grown with underbrush I found a couple very large deer paths. I mean super highways. I put my cam back out and will place another soon. the days are counting down and so is my patience.

With as much rain as we have had lately even a small amount of traffic on a run will make it look like a superhighway. But with the extra heavy undergrowth the deer will be taking paths that they wouldn't normally take. Should be an interesting bow season.

Up north we haven't had a whole bunch of rain but still maybe enough to affect the look of their paths. Either way yes it will be interesting. I am determined to take a deer off of this piece of public land and I will get it done.

I think up north is cursed. It might be a good idea to move to God's country ...south! I don't know who to blame for Green County.

I hope it dries out a little here down south, the mosquitoes are already as big as jumbo jets. I'll have my Thermacell turned on high this bow season.

That would be some northern boys that apparently didn't want to put forth the effort.

It's been one of the wettest summers in many years in western Kentucky. It has really had a negative impact on crops and food plots in the region.
