Columbia blacktail deer and black bears in September, northern California.
Coues whitetail in December, southern Arizona.
Both will be DIY, public land hunts.

You bet ! I've got a hunting camp & cabin in southern Illinois that gets lots of use, and will also be hunting southeast Kansas during rifle season.

Not technically a trip, but will be hunting in KY when the new bridge to the east end of Louisville opens. I have access to 80 acres that borders 600+ that is owned by a wealthy Hollywood liberal that does not allow any hunting. My former employer bought the land a few years ago and it has not been hunted since. He has done some selective logging and added a four acre lake close to the neighbor. There is literally no hunting pressure in the area. The new bridge will cut the drive in half and make buying a KY license worth the money.

I did find a handicap elk hunt. When Ella's ship comes in, I'm going on an elk hunt.

I live in IN near the MI border and do most of my hunting in MI.

I'm planning about 25 trips out of the house this season. ....one of these days my wife is going to pay off big time, and I know she'll give me enough gas money to cross that state line.

I want to do a pig hunt in Georgia next spring. So I have some time to convince my wife it's a good idea.

By then I should have an ar15 or would like to hunt pig with my crossbow Yeah, both sound fun to me. I'm hoping to shoot something with my 300 blackout this year, but really, I'd like to get a buck in the bag early. Last one was a long hard season for me, and man I was tired. I was happy to see the end of the season even though I started trapping then. I think the only time I hunted two days in a row last year was at Big Oaks, but slept more in the truck the second day. Trapping, is everyday, but it's easier on me than sitting there all day. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty good at sitting, but somehow it makes me want to take a nap.
