I can't wait to try this thing out. It seems to be as good as I expected it to be. Got a good scare on my daughter hiding in the woods behind my house.

I have a suit similar to yours, from my experience they won't hide you from a deer, though it probably won't recognize you as a threat. I once got busted by two young does while wearing mine one fine Fall morning, they repeatedly stamped and snorted at me, but didn't bolt. While they didn't seem to know quite what I was, it was obvious that they weren't threatened by my presence. It's possible owing to the lighter shades of mine that I may have appeared to be a strange form of young beech, albeit one that hadn't been there the day before. The does are residents on my land, so they immediately picked me off, a "strange" deer might not have noticed me. Those suits also usually claim to be tick resistant, don't believe it, use a reliable tick killer like Permanone or other permethrin based product on your base layer clothing. Aside from that I like the suit, it's very light and comfortable, and it's hard not to enjoy the airflow it permits on a warm day. I layer beneath it as temps cool.

I figure it isn't gonna hurt any. On the ground a bush, in a stand a limb with leaves on it. Last year while squirrel hunting I had 3 does walk right up on me 15-20 yds away and all they did was stomp and snort for a few minutes. They didn't take off till my little boys bb gun jingled around. I'm hoping the leafy suit will help provide me a slight edge to avoid being spotted.

Just about any camo will work as long as they don't see movement or scent you out. I have bow hunted with cheap Walmart camo & had deer close enough to touch them with an arrow in my hand. Learn to control your emotions to sit perfectly still & all camo no matter what you paid for it need to be washed to be scent free. PS controlling your emotions can help control your scent too.
