It's sad and it hurts but it appears there might not be any laws broken. An incident similar to this happened at Kingsbury Game Preserve when a man from Lake County shot a doe fawn only crippling it and attempted to load it into the trunk of his car, Several men physically prevented this from happening and summoned the Conservation officers who dispatched the animal.

Here's my question: What are the parents going to do?
My parents were very understanding about honest mistakes. But, there was no tolerance for disrespect, poor judgement, and lack of common sense. I can only hope that my kids never reach this level of stupidity.

Distasteful as heck and paints a negative image for hunting, but probably nothing illegal going on here.
I frequently read on here how we need more hunters to join our ranks. NO ... we need more GOOD SPORTSMAN to join our ranks. This is a prime example of some that aren't doing the hunting community any good, and we'd be better off without. Unfortunately, there are a lot of them out there.

I agree completely with Steiny. In today's world it is way more important to get the coolest picture or video posted on facebook or instagram than it is respecting nature. When you mix the culture of todays kids with the social media this is the outcome. It is not enough to take your picture with your harvest. They have to make it better than the last picture that was posted. Like steiny said we need sportsman, not just huge amounts of stupid kids that dont have a clue what its really about.

Disgusting!.....Is too mild of description, what is done to this animal or any animal. People like the one in the video are the making of a violent criminal. Psychologist, regard this behavior as abnormal and a sign that individuals like these, are serial killers in the making. P.S. I couldn't watch the whole video as it simply made me ill to watch it.

I don't care how old those boys are if I was their father I would whoop their rear ends up and down that exact location they did that and work them like dogs and never again would they shoot a gun bow or anything or hunt ever again

Totally disrespectful to nature. I agree. I'd like to add that some boaters and some people who fish a lake chain my parents have a cabin on throw their trash in the water all the time, and it seems to be getting worse as time goes on. Society, as a whole, is on the decline. So you can expect to see more like this, sadly.

These teens may have been "hunters" but only in the legal sense of the word...what they are amounts to being savages that have not been taught any proper ethics or respect for life which seems to be an unfortunate common thread for parenting in this day and age. JMHO
