That's the motto in my kitchen when we're cooking our special Sunday morning breakfast and today was no exception as it was our FINS AND FEATHERS day. Today we had farm fresh eggs from our neighbors coop scrambled in butter along with last falls Honey mushrooms sauteed in butter. We also had homemade Pierogi and you probably you guessed it..... sauteed in butter. From the grill Lake Michigan Lake Trout caught last summer marinated over night in my special seasoning along with 6 dove breasts wrapped in thick cut bacon smothered in BBQ sauce and for an added treat a Bob White quail also covered and smothered. All this was washed down with orange juice and coffee. I forgot to add that while I was outside grilling my wife knocked on the window and alerted me to the fact that just outside our back door were 8 deer with one of those being a small 4 point chasing a doe around. Thank you Lord for this fine meal on such a beautiful day.

That's what it seemed this young buck was doing but I didn't want to suggest that because what do I know.

3-4 years ago I saw a large 12 pt dogging a yearling doe in January. I read that late born does will come into estrous that time of the year the first time. No mention if that cycle will continue their whole lives or not.

I bet you are a good cook!
I'm a good eater, but I haven't mastered the cooking part yet.
That sounds like a well planned special event.
