TURBO I also have a set of open chamber 351-C 2V heads. I'd definitely need their lower compression for a turbo or supercharger. Lol!

Speaking of Mustangs, My Mother-n-law has a neighbor that has a couple. One a 1966 or 67 Fastback damned near mint that he hardly ever gets out. The other I think it "was" a 2013 Shelby GT500 that had less than 5000 miles on it. He will get that one out sometimes. About a month ago we at at her house and heard sirens getting close. I went outside and just down the road it was off the road with a rather large tree on top of it. He had one of his boys with him and was showing him how fast it was, lost control and hit the tree totaling it out. No one was hurt, except Dads pride. I walked down as the cops got there and the Dad was crying much worse than his 10 year old son. The black marks on the road showed it has fishtail twice and slammed into the tree. The cop felt sorry for him and didn't write him a ticket.

Very nice 69 there M4.. Looks to be very well optioned for a non Grande coupe. I see it was built at the San Jose plant. Did it spend time in California, or the south west? I'm a lover of 69 Mustangs. The first car I ever owned was a Royal Maroon 69 Mach I Mustang. It had a 351 4V and a 4-speed. Power steering was the only other option. Bought it off a guy on Stop 11 Rd. in November of 73. It was sold new at Ed Martin Ford. I was 17 when I bought it. Traded it off for a pick up truck. Regretted it ever since. I also had a 69 R code auto Mach I that, like yours, was also built on October 31, 1968. Came out of the Metuchen plant, and was sold new in Seymour Indiana. It was drag raced heavily by the Ulrey brothers. I bought it off a kid in Seymour, and did a full resto on it. I still have a 69 GT 350 and a 2008 GT 500 Convertible. Hope to see you around a Ford show somewhere this next summer.

I didn't have any digital pictures of so I had to scan this one taken at a national Mustang show in Cincinatti Ohio in about 1993. It's the Ulrey Marsh car after I finished restoring it.

I had a chance to get a 64.5 mustang but I decided against it, it was a decent restoration and a well built motor but I would've sold it if I had got it anyway

I was told that it spent the majority of its life in Arizona, but I have yet to document that. The undercarriage is super clean, and there was no rust repair on the body. It was originally sold at Mel Burns Ford in Long Beach, CA, which was the premier Shelby dealer back in the day. They sponsored a lot of drag cars. Try finding a license plate frame from them! $300+ for a rusty one! Your cars look/looked awesome! I'd love to have any of them.

Nice rides, coyote! Here is my 2007 gt vert I'd say the extra work done to the intake is making up for that convertible weight. I like it!

Try finding a license plate frame from them! $300+ for a rusty one! Your cars look/looked awesome! I'd love to have any of them. It's easy to tell your car spent a lot of its life in a nice dry environment. It's so much better to buy them rust free than to try to fix it. My 69 was sold new in Alabama near Ft. Rucker, then was relocated to Ft. Ord California soon after. It had also worked its way into Arizona before I bought it from a friend in Texas. One of the things I enjoy most about working with these vintage cars is researching their history. I'm still trying to get some pictures of my GT 350 before it was repainted in Salinas, California. I've talked to the guy who did it, but he's not real responsive about locating and sending any photos. Still have never been able to locate the original owner either. Enjoy your Mustang. I'll keep my eyes open for it this summer.

Nice rides, coyote! Here is my 2007 gt vert Nice looking GT Convert Freedom Hunter. Do they still call that color Grabber Orange? Nothing better than taking a nice top down ride on a nice 75 degree day in a nice handling Mustang convertible.
