Pats fans never thought Brady being on the list week after week was a big deal. Colts fans think Luck possibly hiding something isn't a big deal.
I think both are right....

I understand why making a team prepare for the possibility of facing a different QB is problematic...I don't see how hiding an injury to your star QB and then sending him out to play (and suck) is problematic to anyone but the Colts...

The history of the last year plays into it as well....any perception that the Colts or anyone associated with the Colts are flexing the rules will be blown out of proportion. 99% of "violation of league policy" are blown out of proportion. What is it their business if he is playing with broken ribs anyway. He's a big boy. He makes that decision himself. Anyone wants to play injured let them. Don't care if it's broken ribs or concussion.

Romo has done the same thing more than once in recent years. I bet it happens more than is ever known...

EXACTY... Luck was listed on the Colts injury report after the Titans game with a shoulder injury....Its not like he hasn't been listed with a injury!

Of course, the injury report itself is rooted in gambling, as the first reports were required in 1947 after the NFL Championship was jeopardized by the New York Giants potentially providing gamblers an inside edge on the game's outcome. The aim of the injury report was to ensure that all injuries were made public to prevent the potential for inside information being used for gambling purposes.

The funny thing is they will still have a shot of winning the East if Romo comes back in 3 weeks. It'll be an uphill climb but that division is a mess.
Their D is solid...

Colts came out on the losing end, but played pretty tough football against both the Patriots and Panthers. It could be argued that these are the best teams in the AFC & NFC right now?

And they struggled to beat the Titans and Jags....2 of the worst teams in the NFL.

That would be a pretty good game .... Colts w/Luck against the Cowboys wo/Romo.
But, Romo will hopefully be back by the the turkey day game so even if the league would decide to shuffle the schedules around to indulge the delusions of Colts fans thinking their team is relevant on a national stage it likely would just be another beat down for the Colts.

If they listed broken ribs on the injury report that would put a big target on him for the defense. I bet every defender that had a shot at him would target his ribs. A shoulder injury seems like less of a body part to intentionally go after. WHO DEY to all the Bengals fans on here! That was an ugly win over the steelers but still a win. Beating them in pittsburgh is always tough. It will be fun to watch them on a Thursday night game. Hope the prime time jitters don't get them again. Burfict coming back should give them a boost on defense.
