Are there many other guys on here that hunt these reservoirs? I am just wondering if it is me and my group of guys I hunt with or what, but the deer numbers seem terrible!! Ive had cameras out for months in many different locations and am lucky to get 1 deer a day. Between me and my buddies we have only seen 1 small doe in 2 full days of hunting. These reservoirs definitely dont have the deer numbers that they used to have, but this year seems way below previous years.

Well its good to hear at least some guys are seeing deer where they hunt. I run dogs alot too throughout the year, so I always keep an eye out for deer..but from what ive seen the numbers are WAY down compared to years past. I do see quite a few deer on the way to the reservoirs (on private ground) but once we hit state property its a different story.

Maybe the flood this spring has something to do with it like I said I have not been out yet but have allways had good luck at both

I hope you do, but both places had massive flooding that took almost to august to get rid of.The deer numbers have remained low for awhile since do to lack of forage.

Due to lack of deer sightings, hunted a new area Saturday morning and Sunday evening on Mississinewa with a couple buddies and still not a single deer spotted. Figured with 1812 going on, deer would be moving pretty good. Its not looking too promising. Did hear alot of tree rats being blown out of the trees though.

Walked quite a few miles over the past 10 day and definitely not seeing much if any rut activity. Anyone else seeing anything yet?? Put cameras out in a few new spots and nothing but a few smaller does after dark.

....Another slow evening at Mississinewa. 3 of us went out this afternoon and yet again not a single deer in sight. Haven't talked to anyone yet that is seeing many, if any deer up there.
