Most of the true "pocket" guns that I've handles had horrendous triggers. I suppose this could be because they are meant to be shoved in pockets with things that could snag the trigger, but, hopefully, folks would use a pocket holster.
Has anyone handled one that has a decent trigger? I know that is subjective, but would like opinions.

I think your first impression is right .... they make them with those heavy looooooooong triggers for a reason.

$199 plus shipping and handling... I finally was able to buy one at this price... The local Rural Kings in Evansville were constantly out. I took my wife to get her hair fixed in Evansville so I went by the RK on Morgan . They did not have any in stock (naturally) but the clerk did a search and said that the Princeton store had them in stock. OK, I might drive up there later. In the meantime I went to Gander Mountain as they say that they will price match local stores. I showed the clerk there the online RKGuns (which is out of stock at that time) the $199 price and told them that the Princeton RK store had them in stock. The firearms manager called them and they said no that they did not have any in stock and only got about 4 at a time and they went quick. So, Gander would not price match as there was no stock at RK. Bummer.. I have had this gun on my "wish list" at RKGuns and when I checked this morning it was now available so I ordered it online. It will be shipped to the RK on Morgan. Total bill including shipping and tax is $223.98. 5 to 6 days shipping because of the holidays.. I'm happy.... In stock at RKGuns.com as of right now... www.rkguns.com/catalogsearch/result/?cat=0&q=lcp

Rural king has the regular lcp for sale for 200$ right now! The newer lcps model is only 30$ more however. I seen on this thread where someone mentioned the lc9s, which is on sale for 330$. Have heard nothing but good things about them. My brother is thinking of picking one up

Just because it was in their weekly add does not mean they have any in stock.. www.rkguns.com/catalogsearch/result/?cat=0&q=lcp

Well, I'm whizzed off...
I'm getting the run around on my order. So here is what I emailed them..
My order number is 80000XXXX - I ordered a Ruger LCP .380 on December 24th. At that time the website said that it was "in stock" and the lady I talked to said it would be shipped right after Christmas. It is now 7 days later and the order is still "in process". Today I called the "order by phone line" and was told that the gun was not really "in stock" at that time but they had an order that was supposed to come in on December 23rd but didn't and they still had not received it as of yet. So, here I am waiting on an "in stock" gun that was really not "in stock" at the time but just on order from the manufacturer. That is NOT a good way to run a business. "In stock" should mean that you have it in your gun cage, not on order from the manufacturer. Needless to say I am not a happy customer at this time. I would like this to be rectified as soon as possible - First off - I would like to get my gun I ordered , and secondly you all need to change that process of posting on your site that the gun is "in stock" when it really is only on order. If that is not changed you will only alienate future customers.[/b]

Pretty sure the Vincennes RK has them in stock. Was one in the display case when I was in there.
I bought one that had the integrated laser for my wife but ended up giving it to my dad as a Christmas present because my wife likes her ultralight revolver better. I am going to buy another with the laser anyway just because I really like it and a guy can never have to many guns.
Need to see what is out there in really slim revolvers...the slimmer the better for carrying in a purse.

It took almost three weeks to get my LCP form RKGuns.com . They did give me a 10% discount for the late shipping. I'll shoot it this weekend From past experience when cresting arrows I know that the fluorescent paint looks better on a white base. So I painted the front sight white first. I looked at it and decided I liked the visibility of the white better than I would with the fluorescent green so I left it white.. I like the Sticky pocket holster. I like the magazine extension for shooting, but will take it off for carry as it adds more of a hang up pulling from my pocket. Also put a Houge grip on it..

I shot it this morning and was impressed with the accuracy. The little gun does have some SNAP to it. I don't think I'll be range shooting a couple hundred at a time with it.

Rural king has them on sale at 219$ I thought that was a fair enough deal. I bought it and as soon as I got home I had to throw some ammo down range, it handles alot better than I was expecting

The only thing I don't like about it is the slide release but I can see where its slim design is good for concealed carry. Now on to get a concealed carry permit

I've installed the 13# spring, stainless steel rod and the Houge Handall Hybrid grip. This should take a little bit of the SNAP out if it..
