Got rainy, cold and miserable weather conditions down here in Central Ky too. However I don't hunt the archery season; but we have a 2-day M/L season coming-up October 17-18th. Saw four Deer while looking out my window this morning, so they are starting to move about more now. UpdateJust saw two nice Doe out back in my field, browsing. Saw them from my window around 9:15 EDT. Brings the total six Deer seen this morning. Two of them near one of my ladder stand.

Think I'm gonna pass. Sustained winds over 20 mph with gusts over 30. Steady rain forecasted to move in later too. Think I'll make this a family day with the kids. Ditto

Skipped the IU v. Ohio State game today to hunt this weekend and have yet to see a deer from the stand. Still don't regret it though

Radar shows rain coming. It's at Brookville Lake now. I'm going to start packing up to get down. It was good to sit for a couple hours and watch the woods wake up again.

Got out late today. I'm in ground blind so it's an all day sit. Good luck to everyone and enjoy God's great gift.

Stood and Watched a forkie for 10 minutes feeding in clover out from the shooting house on my way in. He was the only deer I saw. Started drizzling rain as soon as I got back to camper. Timed my escape just right!

Little bit of rain about 10:30, just enough to make the wind intolerable. I'm out before the real rain hits. Saw nothing but squirrels, could have had my limit. Still a great morning in the woods!

Pulling for you guys that brave these conditions today. No way was I risking life and limb in LaPorte county with wind bending a 40" Maple in our yard. Would need a parachute to go along with my harness! Lots of season ahead. Good luck boys.

Got out this morning for the first time this year, not favorable weather or wind but at least we got out. Lots of squirrels, my buddy I was with had 3 doe 15 yds away. No shooters he said. There is always tomorrow!

Went out for the first time this morning. Didn't dress warm enough and only saw a doe and a yearling buck @ 5 yards. Was surprised to see the corn out on the north end of property, so I will be hunting the cut field tonight, dressed appropriately.
