I like to see guns, especially hunting setups. I love my little Savage 220 with camo scope. Mostly I like it, because it's light and very accurate and doesn't knock me out of the tree or leave my shoulder hanging in my lap. But, if they go BANG, I like them! Hey, I appreciate all the help that you have offered me. I MIGHT even consider being an UK fan, but oh man, this is a tough one. Thanks so much!!!

Canes, I love it. I actually killed a spike with it at Big Oaks last year set up the way I purchased it. The stock was just too long for my kids and the scope wad a cheapie. This setup is much friendlier on them. Just hoping the recoil isn't too much. I'll use it too, but I really love my Savage 220.

I plan to use my Ruger Model 77 Compact Magnum in .308 Win., or my .270 Ruger MKII, for Deer. Both have Leupold Scopes mounted on them. Got a Ruger Model 77/.44 Magnum, I haven't used since moving here in Ky.

Like Jon, I have a Savage 220. Shoots fantastic and good at longer distances as well. But, I am thinking of getting the ol' Winchester single shot 20 ga. out this year. It was my grandfathers gun, passed down to my dad and then to me. Took my first 3 three deer with that gun. It has it's battle scars from years of trudging through the woods but I think they just add to its charm.

Did I mention that I now take donations? I bet it's nice being able to use those rifles for deer?

It's fine for hunting in thick woods or brush areas, but my .308 does a better job. My Brother used it a couple days the first year we moved here. He ended up shooting his 8-point Buck with my Ruger M-77 .270 @ 180 yards.

If I make it past archery season without getting my buck...out comes the muzzleloaders. Both of these are .50, have a couple 45s that will likely see the woods this year too

It'll probably be the T/C Contender 44 mag. rifle with a Simmons 4-12x scope but I may take the T/C Contender 35 Rem. pistol with a Bushnell 2-6x scope. or I may even try the Desert Eagle 44 Mag. decisions decisions. And if I don't have any luck during firearms season I may put the 45 cal. muzzle loading rifle barrel on the Contender and hunt Muzzle loading season. Don't have a picture of it with that barrel though.

I have a H&R handi in .357 that I reamed to Maxi a couple of years back. It has a Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 scope on it.If I'm still in Indiana, this will be my deer rifle this year.
