Seems like I count about 14. Haven't seen any poults in our neck of the woods.

Went down last Saturday to put out trail cams and seen 2 hens, NO poults. Hoping they were hid in the grass

I have seen a lot of poults the last couple of weeks. Yesterday on the way home from work I saw what looked to be 20-25 with at least 3 hens in the front yard of a house. They were the size of small chickens. At last count there were 11 with 2 hens coming into my parents yard daily and a hen crossing the road most mornings with 6 behind her. All 40 or so of these poults are within about a 2 mile area. Also saw a bobcat several times in a 2 week period crossing or hanging out on the edge of the road. I'm sure she is raising young ones now and taking a few of them out.

It is cool. It's no wonder they grow so fast. They are constantly eating. They're like little vacuum cleaners.

Other parts of the county have been under water several times since spring. I'd say they are not fairing as well.

I agree with ya..this much rain can't be good, those poults get wet /chilled time after time ,isn't a good thing..
