I wonder if other states (including Indiana) will follow suit?

As long as we have sheep and cattle farms, along with people using sheep and cow urine as scent attractant alternatives...CWD will still find its way into wild deer herds, especially in states that produce lots of sheep and cattle. Research has demonstrated that the TSE's from one sheep can infect cervids via oral ingestion. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3338966/It's probably not a coincidence that the first state to develop CWD also happened to have the largest sheep feedlot in the country 30 minutes from the facility where it was first observed. It's probably not a coincidence that the ground zero CWD area in Wisconsin is right smack dab in the middle of dairy farm country that contains some of the states largest dairy farms. It's a feel good legislation that I feel is going to have very little impact on stopping the spread of CWD. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

chubwub While that may be true, I wouldn't be surprised to see the ban passed in other states. Politicians like to feel useful.....
