Okay, fellas I've redesigned it for better collecting and submitting of answers. For the select few that took the time to answer in text I am thankful, but if you could take a quick minute, probably less time now because all you have to do is click or type one word answers. This form of a survey will allow me to export all results straight to excel, which will make reporting results to you guys and everyone so much easier! Hope to bridge across all forums, websites and groups to have the best spread of hoosier hunters thoughts for review! docs.google.com/forms/d/1GpM_17LaEOvGE2U3-A9KA9qAcTsaCQ2QUln2zv1DU6U/viewform?usp=send_formLink should take you to the survey directly and it is quick, easy and hopefully will be a great resource. Much appreciated! Admins, please close my other thread "Deer Survey"

Thanks everyone, if you have social media like Facebook, please share it so all Indiana hunters you know can take it! It is shared on Small Acre Hunting's facebook page if you want the ease of just clicking share somewhere on Facebook.

We have easily surpassed 25 counties represented probably more but didn't have time to do more than glance at the results sheet. Keep it up fellas, spread the word! It seriously takes just seconds.

Good survey. It will be interesting to see how many people check the box of not having a complete understanding of the deer herd in their area.
I needed a box in the herd growth question pertaining to poacher control.

I needed a box in the herd growth question pertaining to poacher control. First thanks for the insight and responding! Sadly fellas it would appear having shared this survey with IWDHM offended someone...as I am now banned from their forum. I even explained why in more depth than even here in a message to them why I am conducting it but haven't heard back. (Crazy thing is at the moment they would be a rather happy group with the results) Oh well I have done no wrong and appreciate the over 100 responses so far and can't wait to push it out to more people as the days pass. I will give result update sneaks maybe next week. In the meantime help me out and share it fellas!

In my mind, that means they have a fear of the results this survey would garner, or they want control of the results. Heck, maybe they just believe that you would manipulate the results to suit your needs.

Crazy thing is they shared it on their facebook page for a short time and then pulled it...that small window produced a lot of responses. Even more crazy is that if the responses keep going like they are IWDHM will be very happy with it...I messaged them in hopes of keeping lines of communication open, but not sure I can put up with this continual use of banning for no reason other than misinterpretation of what happens or a dislike of others opinions (stated respectfully).

A couple of questions...
Can the survey be taken more than one time? And if so, how are you screening for multiple entries?

A couple of questions... Can the survey be taken more than one time? And if so, how are you screening for multiple entries? This was explained in a message to IWDHM if you are part of them and wondering due to their post. This was debated back and forth. It was decided that at this time since this was an attempted informal survey by a sole individual with no tie to any organization or group no profile creation to protect against dishonesty in submitting was deemed appropriate. I am working at building a website that will do nothing more than report facts and practice full disclosure of any side which may be present...and seek professional responses to topics from various groups/organizations/consultants/hunters on a separate part of the website. I am going to keep it independently ran and will not take any money from formal organizations that fight for anything at the stare level formally....I will eat the cost of website and upkeep entirely myself if nothing else to protect this. Products or things unrelated to legislation groups may be allowed to help support but that is A WAYS OFF NO DOUBT. This website to get back on track will be where a I make the entire response sheet available. I will disclose the fact that if someone chose to be dishonest and resubmit over and over again it was possible. However there are means to display the data with all and without suspected cases. I will disclose these parameters then. I simply and honestly got sick of hearing groups or sides of any discussion claim the other were idiots or liars...so I indepently made this survey. The website once it is launched and becomes known will do a 2015 Deer Survey...which WILL REQUIRE PROFILE CREATION IN SOME MANNER TO MAKE IT MORE DIFFICULTY FOR RESUBMITTANCE. Hope this makes any sense at all....and before you say it yes I have ZERO clue why I am undertaking this. No doubt I will face attacks on me personally and the pain of attempting to make the site operate despite time spent on it never producing any fiscal benefits...but I feel it is needed. Similar to how this forum is desperately needed...as Woody and other admins never push or discourage any opinion that is presented with respect.

I'm not a member of IWDHM and I don't post on facebook or their forum. I asked to satisfy my own curiosity and wanted to know if there were any controls in place to keep people from posting multiple times and (perhaps) attempting to skew the results.
Thanks for letting me know what's going on.

Thanks for letting me know what's going on. Awesome good deal man. Appreciate the question though, as no doubt others are wondering the same. For anyone visiting here from IWDHM just so you know, because I have no ability to control whether or not your leaders let me clarify on their forums (since someone there banned me for the survey)...I in no way shape or form am doing the survey directly because of any single group or organization. That is the whole point of it, I'm seeking hunter input from ANY source I can think of! To make it even better, I'm going to fully grant access to the entire list of responses (un-cleansed from double entries, blank entries or suspicious ones).

The survey they have going on can be done multi times and can be skewed....... Done seen it happen!!!! Of no concern to me Greg, if that is the case that is their business. I just know upfront what this one is entailing and I've openly explained it. There are parameters and things that are tagged on submission which allow an eyebrow to be "raised" one could argue should two or more submissions look suspicisious. However, in the future ones conducted by the new website those will require more length one must go to take part...essentially limiting the ability to be dishonest to a good degree.
