The only bucks that I've seen this year are two brothers from last year and still too young to take this year. I hope the guys around me will give them a pass.

Not a trail camera but this old gal jumped our backyard fence and took a drink out of our bird bath.. Then ate a little bird seed under our finch feeder.. The for desert she ate a half dozen roses Then before she jumped back over the fence she nibbled on a few hostas I’m pretty sure she is this same one I got on the trail camera a few weeks back. She has put on some weight. Her milk glands looked pretty full. .

Well, this year I have new hunting grounds since I moved up North. My friend has given me permission to hunt his farm so, I decided to put my trail camera out last week and it has already been stolen. I have never had this happen to me...this year should be exciting. After telling my friend (he does not hunt), he was very ticked off to hear people are trespassing on his farm, and he has a few suspects. This makes me really want to try that trick someone on here mentioned last year, putting a trail camera high up in a tree pointing down. I have never dealt with this...any suggestions?

Either put it really high up and/or camouflage it really well. I'd probably do both, but I'm a bit paranoid with that kind of thing.

Yes up high is good , also a a cheap or broken camera as bait with the other pointed at it . Lock boxes & Python cables also , but if they want them they will get them regardless . I have password secured cameras so at least if they do steal it they cannot use it . The morels of society have plummeted to an all time low for thief's, hope you catch them !!

This is a video from my new Bushnell HD NatureView cam. The daytime clarity is pretty good. Night time stuff is ok.

Very excited to check my first cams of the year in about 8hrs. Got a very special deer I'm hoping shows up and I can share with you guys. Fingers crossed that both cams worked. First checks of the year don't always go smooth for me. Bad luck of finding bad sd cards, weird faults on my camera or just never turned them on. Hope everything worked.

Wow did I call that one. Cam 1 was on but not in auto from where I switched it to set the date.. Cam 2 was on and appeared to be taking my pic as I walked up judging by the little green bulb that lit up. No pics and batteries drained to 10% in 5 days. Unreal.
Reset cam 1 and left. Fairly confident it will work... Pulled cam 2 to replace batteries and card and test at home before setting back up.
Moultrie abd Primos if you're wondering. Pretty disappointed. Rushed home from work, didn't even change clothes and walked in wearing shorts and flip flops because I wanted to see them so bad.
Just a 2 day check next time on Cam 1. I want to see that deer on cam before I go bavk to work Friday. Pretty easy spot to slip in without spooking anything.

Those are some big deer M4! I'm still anxious to see what else shows up. Heck, most haven't even found the cam yet. LOL! The flies keep them jittery:

Whose deer pen did you put a camera on??? All free ranging. That's why I seldom find them while hunting. LOL!

Very impressive. Camera takes good video too. It's a Stealth Cam G42NG. The videos above were taken at dawn and dusk when the IR is still on. It takes great daytime footage. From last year:
