What a crock. DNR really is transparent, it is all about money. Isn't everything where government is involved?

LOL, I'll loose sleep just thinking about the chance to get out in January -- who is the genius who dreamed this one up. Probably somebody from a"A" country in Northern Central Indiana.... They have no antlerless deer so now they want to shoot up all there BUCKS .....lmao... SMH Hey hopper, what is "A" country (probably meant county)? If you are talking about Hamilton you are very wrong. On my 15 acres of creek bottom land I have doe herds ranging from 10 to 15 in number and yearlings to adults. They are here year around and have been for the 18 years I have lived here. Hamilton county isn't just Carmel. There are thousands of acres of farm land with woods abutting that are very productive deer hunting areas. It is a good idea to know what you are talking about before you share an opinion, especially an erroneous one. Bucks in a county with no does, now that is a real interesting concept. Guess all the bucks are gay.......

www.eregulations.com/indiana/hunting/bonus-antlerless-deer/Yep, probably Howard, Clinton, Carroll, Cass, Miami, etc I hope. Unfortunately, there is a real misconception of Hamilton County and it gets real old real fast. Beck's is based a mile north of me and owns square miles of farm land and woods where I live. No shopping malls here

I know a guy who kills monsters in Hamilton County. I think Adam Vinetieri hunts there too.
Fact is, there are good bucks in A counties too, just not enough habitat to hold big numbers of deer.

I happen to know that he also hunts free range, fair-chase deer in Hamilton County and probably lots of other places. I killed a wild boar in a high fence place in Tennessee one time. Am I a "high fence hunter"?

Is the good ground he hunts because of his wealth and limited time surrounded by a fence less than a 1000 acres? I don't know the guy or even heard of him, but the way it sounds he must have a lot of bone hanging in his trophy den.

I still don't see the point.
Are you saying he's somehow doing something wrong or just throwing out a random fact?

If you (as in anyone)hunt high fence your a high fence Hunter, period If you break game laws your a poacher period. It really doesn't matter how many times you do it!!! I could go on and on if it's really needed..... Do it once and you get a label almost every time!!

Ok then, I am a high fence hunter because I killed a wild boar at a preserve in Tennessee a few years ago. Now that I am "labeled", what does that mean going forward?
Am I still welcome to post here? Do I need to have some sort of "Scarlet Letter" like avatar so people will be able to see my shame?
I just want to make sure I am playing by the rules here.

Ok. I won't do that. I do have the shoulder mount, but I don't, and won't "try to sell it" as a legitimate, free range kill. I'll try not to even be proud of it. Am I still allowed to think it looks cool?
Heck, I will hang a disclaimer from it if it keeps me in good graces.
Just let me know what you want and I will try to comply.

It wouldn't bother me if you bought it at a flea market, I'd still like to see it. I still don't see anything wrong with one going to a fenced hunting ranch. I'm thinking that I just rather not have them here if this makes any sense. If I were a rich guy, I'm sure I'd go to one or two... I can't say that I see much difference in going hunting or fishing with a guide who puts you on them than going to a fenced in area, but I haven't hunted for 30 years either. Heck, I'm biting at the bit the get me one of those satellite trackers. LOL

Uh oh...I just realized I haven't come completely clean. That plaque mount rack on the lower right is a high-fence deer kill. Totally forgot about that one. I killed him in Big Oaks. Man, I just keep digging myself deeper into this sorted tale!
