Really good prongs on that buck.
I love being able to take off for miles and find those out of the way places like you did. Hard work usually pays off.

Very nice speed goat!
Congratulations!
For the pure enjoyment of seeing LOTS of game animals you cant beat pronghorn hunting.

Antelope make a pretty mount. I've shot a half dozen, but never have gotten one mounted.

Is this a hunt that an old fat handicap guy could do?

Is this a hunt that an old fat handicap guy could do? Yep.. most antelope are shot from the shoulder of the road. Would probably be well advised to buy points for a couple years to get a tag for a unit with good road access, or to find a ranch that would let you on for a trespass fee.

I thought I was going to get a trespass fee when looking for Trey's deer, and then I turned around. I'll look into those points.

Jon, I'm actually planning on going out next year and am excited as can be. I've got 3 or 4 points going into the draw but I think I'm gonna put in for a hard area first choice and draw a lesser area 2nd. Buying points is easy and from the research I've done it looks like this is one of the easiest and funnest western hunts there is.

Dennis,
Latch onto an outfitter or a landowner and take that Horton Storm out there. Pop up a blind on a waterhole. Get dome snacks, something to drink and a good book and wait.
The outfitter or landowner can drive you right to the blind.
In prime areas you will see dozens and dozens of pronghorns and your only decision will be how big a one you want.
It's a great hunt..

If anyone is interested in antelope hunting and mule deer hunting in Wyoming contact me and I might be able to help I have friends whom are ranchers out there. I would have to get to know you some and if things work out I can make some phone calls

Do nonresidents need a guide to hunt antelope in Wyoming? No. Plenty of public land. I drew a buck and 2 doe tags this year. Only instance where a nonresident needs a guide in WY is in designated wilderness areas.

What part of WY would you recommend to hunt?
