Season is rolling in! Where is everyone hunting an has everyone located the roosts and/or feeding grounds?
I saw the flock that makes its way through the area last week a few times in the normal spot but haven't seen them the past few days! I have cameras on all their hot spots so hopefully I will get some pics of the birds!
Post some pics of any you have!

I'll be in Morgan county on my grandpas property. My dad and I hunt one field in particular every year that is good for a mid morning bird if nothing flies down to the field right off the bat. We both connected last year and hope to again.

I hadn't seen any birds in their usual spot yet this year, that is until Saturday morning there was a small group in the same corner of the field where we've taken 3 birds in the last 4 years. Also, located a big group next to a woods we have permission to hunt one side of.

I understand the stratigy of waiting on a field edge in the rain but it doesn't sound very fun, I'd rather run and gun on a nice day while I grab a few mushrooms!

I have had cameras up since last July and I think I have a pretty good idea of how they are using our property. This will be my first ever turkey hunt so I am pretty excited for it.

Just leased 140 acres in Lawrence County. Son in law has scouted Hoosier National in Northern Clark county and has seen a lot of birds. Finally I have drawn three days to hunt Mississinewa. If I don't get one it is entirely my fault.

I'll be hunting for thunder chickens in central Jasper Co. Haven't seen my birds come back from their wintering grounds yet but they typically don't make that transition until the beginning of April. Cameras are getting posted back up this coming week. Can't wait to hear that first gobbler sound off opening morning! And as for the rain, it doesn't really bother me but, I do enjoy a mid/late morning nap in the sun underneath a cedar tree.
