The information about the subject shows that more people are for HPRs than against. That is a good thing. However, we already have many fine choices available to responsibly harvest deer.

I was in Walmart the other day. Sabot slugs $9 to $13 for 5. 30-30 $16 for 20, 30-06 $19 for 20, 44 mag $42 for 50. Entry level HPR are about the same as most slugguns. Except for mag capacity I am all for it. False...Rossi or H&R single shots sell for sometimes at or shade below $200 even in calibers like .308, .270, 30-06 or .243......much much easier and cheaper to shoot HPRs. Not saying this as a positive or negative just stating the information.

Is he not stating that entry level HPR are about the same cost wise? AS a matter of fact ammunition wise they can be had cheaper ammo wise, but as a whole they are not when considering the firearm. I guess I did read into what he said more than he probably intended. Apologies.

So, do we know yet when we'll actually find out, for sure, about what the regulations will be?
