Well I've had a great season so far. I shot a decent 8 point at Big Oaks on Nov 3rd and on Friday Nov 14 I shot the biggest buck I've ever shot with my bow. I was in my Summit climber at 6:15 early Friday morning. I had my eyes closed just relaxing and I heard something crunching on the frozen leaves. When I opened my eyes it was just barely light enough to see. I didn't hear anything for a few minutes, then here he came from my left. I couldn't tell how big he was but could tell he was a nice deer. He was on top of the ridge walking straight sideways, I ranged a tree at 30 yards and adjusted my rover pin for 30. All of a sudden he started angling right to me. At about 15 yards I grunted and he stopped and I let the Matthews do it's job. After I shot he walked 5 yards and then looked toward my direction. He then started walking away from me. I was thinking to myself, there is no way I missed. At about 50 yards he started swaying and I cheered when he crashed. I decided just to stay in my stand and wait for a few minutes. After about 15 minutes I heard something walking my way and here come a beautiful 12 pointer but not nearly as big as my 10 pointer I had just shot. He walked within 15 yards of me and I was getting ready to video tape him with my phone then it decides to reboot. I thanked God for a great hunt and a great deer. The taxidermist green scored it at around 145

Boys are doing great. Trey is going to Hanover College this year and Tanner is a senior in High School. I think he is going to college next year for graphic design.

That's a fantastic deer! I love that when you start to panic, thinking you may have missed, and then they crash.
I hope your boy enjoys Hanover. A beautiful Campus; my wife went there and is now employed by the college. We live about five miles away.
