Well I'm a happy guy now after two years trying to get a buck with my muzzle loader, it finally happened at 4:02 P.M. and this also makes it the first time i have ever dropped a deer in his tracks. I left the house the head behind it where my stand is, put out some estrus urine, then climbed up into my stand two minutes went by here he came running didn't have time to get my gloves on. Let my CVA optima bark and that was it. Although he may have a small rack this buck has been around for 3.5 years and I even have his right side he busted off fighting last year, so I guess it doesn't get much better than that.

Congrats. The accuracy and knockdown power of a muzzleloader amazes me every time I put a deer down with one. I've harvested 8 deer with my current one and only one deer went further than 50 yards. TC omega Nikon omega scope.
