Hey everyone, appreciate prayers for my friend Gary, he is a great guy. he was pulling his bow up last night when the straps on his stand gave way.
He fell forward and landed on his face and arm. He is in the hospital , waiting on an X ray of his wrist, which he believes is fractured.
He was not wearing a harness, I know its your right not to wear one, but it can save your life, injury and expense caused.
It takes just a few seconds to put it on and clip in at the tree but I feel it is totally worth it.

Prayer sent for Gary. I wish we would hear more stories about guys who lives were saved, families were spared, careers were kept, and checkbooks were not drained because of a lifeline or tree strap.

I fell in 08 from 27 feet and was saved by my harness.. I never go without one.. I understand not all like them and that's there choice.

There are more hunters killed and maimed(some for life) falling from stands than by all the other hunting hazards combined. There is absolutely no excuse for not wearing a safety harness..
They are cheap (with some being free with stands) insurance.

Talked again this evening, he is home from the hospital and has a broken elbow, not much for the severity of the fall..
