Can you help me to age this deer? I have several pics and everyone seems to estimate him at a different age. I will attach some pics

My guess is 3.5 to 4.5 yo. His back hasn't sank down much compared to older bucks.

Compared to the rest of the deer on my cameras, he has a huge body. This is what has thrown me for the biggest loop. If he is 3.5 he walks. If he is 4.5, he might end up with an arrow in him. I am guessing upper 130 maybe 140. Any thoughts? He is narrow but tall with decent mass.

I'd stick him. Now that I took another look I'm siding with 4.5

My guess is 3.5-4.5 and he would catch one of my arrows any day of the season

I think it depends. Have you seen him in previous years? Is he living in an area where it is a good possibility that he won't get shot by somebody else, or taken out by a car? He's in fantastic condition, so the rut shouldn't wear him down too badly, and he just might really jump in size next year.
If he's in an area where there's a good chance that he won't make it to next year, then I'd take him if I had the chance.

This is the first year that i am getting serious about using cameras. I think i saw him last year but not positive. If it was then he didn't grow much. Mostly in the main beams and some mass. I hunt a small patch that doesn't hold very many deer. Its mostly a crossing woods in an area known for big deer. There is no guaranteeing that he will survive. However i have pics of him from June all the way up to now and in a couple different locations. He is pretty regular. I am sure if I Don't shoot him someone else will

I'd guess 3-1/2! Straight back, no belly-pooch, not really thick muscle-mass in his fore-quarters, & hind quarters. Nice buck! I would take him in a heart-beat! Good luck!

"I hunt a small patch that doesn't hold very many deer. Its mostly a crossing woods in an area known for big deer. There is no guaranteeing that he will survive." - Shoot him. If you don't want to shoot him, and want to hold out for bigger...DM me. I'm happy to take him off your hands.
