Hey everyone. I'm trying to get opinions on what people think would be better. My son got drawn for the big oaks youth hunt. This is his first hunt ever. I'm trying to decide if we should just go in and sit on the ground against a tree or should I take my pop up blind and put us in it. The problem I see with just sitting against a tree is I'm sure he will be fidgety. But the blind I really won't have any time to try and brush it in and will for the most part just be sitting in the open. Not sure what the deer will think of that. Any of advice will be appreciated. I really would like to see him be successful. Thanks

If there is a way to get the blind in around some cover that would help. Blinds out in the wide open are going to alert the deer in my experience. I do understand wanting the cover due to movement issues
