Another deer "baiting" question.

The farmer/landowner where I hunt spilled 200-300 pounds of corn at the edge of the field last year. I assume the hatch on his grain cart was not fully closed. Anyway, I could have sat 10 yards in the woods and shot doe after doe for a few days. I chose not to because the corn appeared to be deliberately placed there.

What's the ruling?
