Got any suggestions for a Food Saver Vacuum? Tired of freezing fish in blocks of ice and deer in freezer bags. Give me some input. What model do I need?

FWIW, as it has been a few years now, I had a Black & Decker model that did OK but I suspect there are better options.
I guess I'm the other way from you...I got tired of messing around with the vac sealer. I can do cling wrap and freezer wrap quicker than I can do a vac seal. I have had meat wrapped this way last for two years now with no issues.

I had one years ago and it was a pain in the you know what. You had to buy the rolls of plastic then cut and seal each one to size, you had to make sure you didn't suck any meat or other stuff into the vacuum because it was a pain to clean.
As HuntMeister said wrap in cling wrap and store in a plastic bag.
I do sometimes use a skinny bar straw and suck out the air in the plastic bag as I pinch it shut, it works pretty good.
Best advise is enjoy your catch or harvest within a few months and you should have no problems with freezer burn.
BTW those rolls of plastic are not cheap.
