I never kill more than 2 deer in a year because we simply don't eat more than that. One year I killed 3 and donated one. This year, I had a lot of meat left in the freezer so I didn't kill a deer. I passed dozens of does on my Franklin County lease. I missed a HUGE buck in bow season. I was going to kill a doe on my own property in Dearborn County, since it would have been a first, but I never put it all together. Only the second year since I started hunting that I have gone deerless, but it was still a successful season.

3 does, 1 bb and one that we could not find. .358 Hoosier did a fine job it's first year out.

I got a buck with my bow, and had to let three more walk, but never had a good shot on a doe. HOWEVER, it's not over until January 31!
