I know it's late in the game but I just saw this thread.
If you still have this you can get a gunsmith to square up and thread the muzzle for you. You can then get "thin wall" chokes for the barrel. I had a Wingmaster that had the same issue and I believe it cost me $40 for the smithy and $20 for a choke tube. If I remember correctly any makers who make chokes for Berettas make the thin walled type chokes.
