Just bought it from Cabelas in hammond.. Sighted in at 50yds perfect.. Shot 5 time with just pushing a patch through.. Went to 100 yds. Shot. hit target centered. then then bottom droped out. @ 100 yds it drops 1 foot. Cleaned gun still doing it..Ended up scrubing the barrel with a brush and swabing till clean.. Back on target. Shot one more time shots fine. 3erd bullet brops out of sight..

My Pursuit likes 90 grains of Blackhorn 209 and Barns Expanders or T/C Shockwaves 250 grains. The Blackhorn powder is very clean burning powder. I can shoot 20 rounds before I even run a patch through it while at the range. The Shockwaves are much easier to load with the yellow sabot than the Barns, but both shoot pretty well the same and I like how the Barns will open up . I have mine dead on at 100 yards. It is about 1.5" high at 50 yards and about 2" low at 150 yards. If you can find it try the Blackhorn 209 and you will never use 777 again. I have never had a misfire using the Blackhorn 209.

Find some BH209 and just shoot. With the 777 try a spit patch and then a dry patch. First one is the one that counts anyway!!!!

I just acquired on of these muzzleloaders. I currently own 2 CVA 50 cal. Optima Pros and I shoot 100 grains with 2 Pyrodex pellets and a Hornady Sabot... Won't this load work alright in the Traditions Pursuit??? NO... I have NT had a chance to shoot it yet....

Sounds like you have a winner. Always clean between shots for the best accuracy with Triple Seven. Getting a follow-up shot on the money without cleaning is very acceptable in my book. The first shot is what counts anyway.
