I used to carry a Taurus 85 Ultra Lite in an Uncle Mike's #3, just like the one pictured at the top of this thread. Though it was a great gun, I now carry a Keltec P3AT in .380 in the same holster. Super light and I actually shoot it quiet well. HH is right on with saying that if a gun is too heavy, no matter how much you like it, you won't carry it. A lot of guys shoot their "favorite" guns the most and don't shoot their carry guns often enough. I am guilty of this as well.

Nothing wrong with a J frame. Just carry a speedloader and you've got 10.
I think it kinda funny, all the shootout scenerios.
A bad guy might not be a shooting pro, but it only takes one to kill you. And unless you've won the lottery a few times, consider your luck to suck.
Read: if there's to be any shooting you be the first on the trigger and put the bullets where they need to be.

I carry a mp9c and love it. They are 12+1 and you can use the regular mp9 mags in them with a grip adapter which puts you at 17+1. A lot of those smaller .380 pistols have a super long trigger pull. I shot the Ruger LCP, and Taurus TCP a couple weeks ago and I couldn't get passed the trigger pull. I have pretty large hands and when I started shooting them I had a really hard time just getting the them to fire. My trigger finger would contact the frame on the other side without fireing the gun. I had to adjust my grip and just have the tip of my finger on the trigger. Just couldn't get used to them. But they are really concealable. Just my experiences with them.
