Might me a local thing? lol
Here, farmers talk about picking corn and "running" beans........what do I know?
Looks for an early one here in N Central Indiana for some, some didnt plant till later though but most planted REAL early.
Hoping for something earlier than last year when 50 percent was still standing during gun season.
God Bless Steve

I had to take go to Greene county yesterday - during the drive down and back to Indy, I saw A LOT of fields (beans and corn) that look to be only a few weeks out from being picked/shelled/cut/run/whatever.

...being picked/shelled/cut/run/whatever. Use whichever term you are accustomed to. We all KNOW what you mean! Around here, we cut or pick beans and shell or pick corn!

Farmer's down south are wide open. I'm gonna guess that 40 to 50% of crop is going to be harvested by opening day bow. Some of you are getting some rain I hear. Unfortuately for me we are not. I have 1 food plot close enough that I can get water too. The rest of them look like desert. Worst i've seen since I moved to Switerland county. Won't be much food plot hunting. Relocating some stands to concentrate on acorn's and travel coridor's.
