As always I will try for at least 4. I'll tag-out if possible per the farmers request due to the heavy annual crop & tree damage and I donate excess meat to our local homeless shelter.

Depends. If my neighbors buy into reducing the deer herd, then I might shoot one or none at all.

3 most years as many as 7 in years past. I give a lot of meat away especially since my son also kills at least 1 and my girlfriend is god for 1 sometimes 2.

I will try to take as many deer as I have bought tags for. I buy a bonus anterless tag after checking in a bonus anterless deer more times than not.

New member. Thanks for a great site and a place to voice our opinion's. Just curious do the states brillant minded biologist's factor in the increased number's of hunter's each year and more liberal bag limits and not just the fact that more deer are harvested to come up with that indiana's deer herd is growing? . I hunt primarily in switzerland county on a private 150 acre farm. The county bag limit's are so high and number of hunter's keep's increasing i find it very hard to believe that the deer herd is increasing in my area. Deer sighting's these last two season's are down dramatically. We manage number of taken on our farm, put out 7 plus acre's food plot's , mineral lick's etc. to keep deer on our land but the hunting pressure is extremely heavy. I am a strong supporter of the O.B.R. and even if given the oppurtunity to shoot an additional buck would choose not to. Just my 2 cents. Again thanks for such a great site. I agree, it seems like most guys are taking what they want or need. With the exception of the few guy's who kill just to be killing it seems most of you are taking what you need for the freezer or for friends and family. I don't see how adding new seasons will make that big a difference. I think it should be up to the hunters in the counties these new rules will affect to determine what they want as far as seasons. I can tell you without a doubt that the herd is down in the county I hunt but I know nothing about the counties I don't hunt in.

Well I hope to take 3. One for the wall and 2 for the freezer or 3 does for the freezer, whichever

I think the most I have ever killed was 4 in one year. I did buy a bonus tag last year but passed up on all of the does waiting for a buck. Anymore its less about the killing because I am content with just being out there.
