xhunterx: I "jumped" at you because of the focus issue. You did not say - "which parks have the best success rate" or "which parks have an unbalanced Buck to do ratio" you asked "where are the bruisers".
That comment infers that hunting Big Bucks on Park Draws is your focus, and as such, that focus may blind you to the stated goals/primary targets of the hunt - does.
Frankly, it wouldn't bother me one bit if these park hunts were "earn-a-buck" hunts. It would keep people's focus where it needs to be - herd management. But, unfortunately, it seems that without the dream of hunting low pressured monster bucks the DNR thinks that not enough people would apply.
I spent a good deal of time on Dunes after I shot my does, talking to other hunters - many of whom WERE PRIMARILY LOOKING FOR BIG BUCKS AS A WAY AROUND THE OBR.
To me, as a guy with very few hunting opportunities because of location and lack of access, I find that utterly appaling.
I can't go to Kingsbury or Pulaski to shoot does during Gun season... it's not allowed. Which means if I want to hunt for meat on Public land near me my options are limited to the DSP draw. And it Pi$$es me off to no end to think of losing a chance to do that because somebody wants a way around the OBR.

Shoots410: Bravo! Nice deer. But that's why I carry a backup gun (Traditions Buckhunter Pro Pistol) when hunting ML...

This deer was taken in 2006 in the Blue Zone at Versailles. Would I pass on a doe if this guy was standing next to her? DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D But of course, then I would try and harvest a couple of does.

Oh I should add that all of these bucks have long since been harvested out of this park, and there are only a few fawns running around so there is no need to put in for this park hunt!!!!! ;D Isn't that right Firstwd!!!!!

All things being equal (range, sight lines, etc) if the body mass was about the same between the buck & doe, I'd personally shoot the doe. Got no place or need for antlers. OTOH I'd also likely be working the lever pretty quick to try to get off a second shot at the second deer - antlers or no. Worked for the 2 I shot on Dunes within 20ft of each other...

So because you dont care about antlers its immoral and unethical for the rest of us to shoot bucks instead of does.

This thread has gotten way off topic and turned into a whizzing match. I believe we are done here. h.h.
