Non-resident archery deer permits issued to outfitter clients who received a permit based on the preference given to outfitter clients are valid only on property controlled by the outfitter used to gain preference
License Requirements:
DO NOT PURCHASE A LICENSE UNTIL YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY OBTAINED A PERMIT - REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED!!
WW - Basically two buck tags at $410 each?
2 x $410 ??
They really want our money don't they? They could not sell out the 25,000 tags at one buck tag per hunter so they upped it. OTC in mid August is going to be very, very busy. First come, first served...they will sell out now..

ridiculous, they can have it. They are losing hunters to Kentucky, Ohio, and here. I've got a couple hundred acres in the triangle in Adams Co. that I can hunt for free and just can't stomach that state fleecing with the nr fees.

What was the NR archery fee last year Woody? I'm thinking it was $400. The big change is they will allow a NR bowhunter the opportunity to buy two buck tags this year. That is up to selling 25,000 tags and then they cut it off. 25,000 times 400 is a cool ten million dollars..

Woody the NR tags were 458.00 total..you have to buy the habitat stamp and hunting license which totals 458.50 . at least last year they were...I;d just buy a second tag for firearms at 300.00 dollars..one archery and one firearms is cheaper..than two archery.

That is true.. the habitat stamp and hunting license brings the total up to what you said. As I understand it you can still get a gun/muzzleloader buck tag on top of the two bow buck tags.Three bucks for NRS.. Residents can only kill two.. Illinois - 'Splain that one to me..oh....... thats right NRs tags are more expensive. $ $ $

i bet there is more to it than that and i highly doubt that a non res could kill one more buck than a res. there is probally still going to be a 2 buck limit. that is probally just a summary of what the change is.

all i see is that you can buy 2 archery permits. i didnt see anything on overall bag limits. remember in the past you could buy all 3 tags, (archery shotgun and muzzy permits) but you could still only kill 2 bucks. and if i am not mistaken you could take both of your bucks with archery but one had to be in the later season.

2 x $410 ?? No Deer is worth that kind of money! That depends on the individual..I know myself and other guys who pay it every year..You don't have to buy a second tag...so basically nothing has changed for those who only want one tag...the only thing different is if an individual chooses, he can buy another archery over the counter tag..why not?...they have thousands left over every year..put em out there for those who want em..

Thanks, Tom. You know how rumor start. In the past it's been my experience to expect a hike in fees every ten years.
