I've hunted 29 days this season.
9 Days seen ZIP
The 20 days I seen deer totalled 58 Does and 23 Bucks. Over 1/2 the bucks seen were between 11/6 - 11/9

Every year becomes more enjoyable regardless of the number seen or the amount killed...
Bought another antlerss tag just to be able to help a friend eat venison.

Granted, I didn't see as many deer this season as I usually do, but my brother, a friend of mine, and myself all took bucks over 140" this season -- and my brother's was his first deer ever. From what I've seen online, this seems to be the year for bruiser bucks.

Great year for me. Took two does and a buck. None of the three were huge but my freezer is loaded.
As for fogging a mirror, I agree. I always say that as long as I'm able to get vertical and suck wind, it aint all bad.

This was my tenth year deer hunting and it was BY FAR my best. I saw more deer than ever and killed my biggest buck. I also killed two does.

I had a down year.......actually it was my worst year as far as deer sightings since the very first year I hunted 20 somthing years ago! But with that said I have to admitt, my heart was not really into it this year. I didn't really go to where I needed to go, instead opting to stay close to the truck / 4 wheeler.......due to all the pain and discomfort. Some days I didn't climb over 5 or 6 foot off the ground, due to the pain meds I am on. If I can't get my health turned around I doubt I will be out for archery season next year

I wasn't into it all the past two years either Camby, mostly due to my unstable job situation. I've been out MAYBE 10 times the past two seasons. I hope your health improves so you can get back out there soon.

I cant complain about this year. Killed 4 does with my bow. 8pt before turkey day. A doe during ML. I have hunted everyday. I will be around 600 hours for the year when season is over and probably in the 330-400 deer seen for the year.

I love it. As soon as school is out I am in my stand or blind everyday. I have missed one day going on 11 years I believe.

Congratulations on another great season. Up until a couple years ago I was seeing those kinds of deer number too. Now I am lucky to see deer every forth or fifth hunt. EHD and over killing has hurt this area bad.

Girlfriend of 7 years. I will get to school at 5:30 a.m during deer season so I can get out of here right after school. I still get 50 hours of work in a week. Bad thing is I know 3 other guys that hunt more than me and they are married and not retired.. I will be off from school the 23-the last day of the season and will hunt all day everyday and get about 144 hours
