How does that work for you Woody,
Do you replace a mount or just keep adding to the wall?
Good looking 6 by the way!

Nice deer........BTW- have 3 openings on the farm that it came from if anyone is interested. Cheap too! Guys, I know this farm like the back of my hand. If anyone does sign on I will meet you there and personally show you around. Last year we had up about a dozen stands to use in various CRP fields, ditchlines, fencelines, and woods to cover most of the areas. We hunt together as a group to coordinate who uses what stand. That worked very well last year. There were at least two B & C pushing bucks seen with a good number of 140 to 150s. A 160 ten was dinged in bow season last year, but recovered very well and was spotted a week later chasing does. A Florida hunter said "a Booner" slipped past him on the opening day of firearm season. He was in a pop up blind and the deer came from a direction that he didn't think he would come from. I'll be putting out a few trail cameras in about a month to see what all is going on there. WW

How does that work for you Woody, Do you replace a mount or just keep adding to the wall? Good looking 6 by the way! I’d say this one is the last one that I will mount. I had not mounted any deer for a few years, just horn mounts. Even the 145 ten I took in 2007 in Illinois was made into a horn mount. I’ve shuffled the deer around to get him on the wall, but I am flat out of room. There is one spot, but that spot is occupied by a print - “Mountain Man with Rifle” by Bama. That is an anniversary present so it stays where it is. Momma says “no deer heads in any other room of the house”.. The den walls…

Impressive trophy room woody! So if you whack a 200" this year you wont get it mounted? I have plan..I'll pass all the deer that I would have mounted. Basically the 150s and up and just shoot the ones that will make nice horn mounts. The less than 150s. J/K.. Woodmaster has expanded his trophy room into his hot tub room so I can hang a few at his place. He has run out of room in his den too. Not sure I would want to hang up my pitiful little deer up beside the deer he kills.

You know the "I'm proud of my deer and want to thank dad for getting me started" type of pic. I think Woodmaster had it for an avatar for a while. Nice trophy room!
