Great job.
That is a dandy first buck! Looks like a big bodied deer!

Hot dog! I love to hear when someone does it all by them selves! Great job on that first buck...I wish you luck on putting more in the freezer...is this first one going on the wall?

Splash..Yes he will end up on the wall but not as a full mount. I'm going to do a european mount of his skull cap.

After all the butchering was done ended up with 87 pounds of meat no bone. May have been able to get 100 pounds of meat but because it was warm I had a hard time getting all the meat off the bone plus I've nevr bothered trimming the ribs.

Wonderful story, and by the way-CONGRATULATIONS! I hung on every word of the story, and only found fault with one part-not a trophy? If THAT isn`t a trophy, nothing is. MANY happy returns.

Euros are cool…I’ve got one about 80% done…er…I should say God’s got mine about 80% done…last years buck head is hanging on the old dog run in the back yard. Maybe by next year it’ll look like a “natural” euro mount…
