Hunted yesterday morning, saw 7 does all before I was allowed to shoot, dang rules. Saw 3 nice bucks one was a true brute with tall heavy chocholate rack. No shots, Maybe next week.

i kicked up about 6 deer when i was headed to my blind this morning. other than that i haven't seen anything else this weekend

I had one coming my direction from front right when off behind my right shoulder I had a second one blow and then the other one blew and that was that. The wind was blowing over my left shoulder so I guess it must have been swirling some - I never could see the one behind me and I was in a tree with thick cover back behind that direction - who knows. I don't recall seeing one come in that way before, figures - good timing.

Saw a lone doe which was strange & 2 young totally lost bull Elk that had escaped from who knows where. I am pretty sure you can shoot them since they are non native. That would be fun. Nope that law was changed in July of 06 I belive.. You cannot harvest a wild Elk...
