All,
My wife has accepted a position at a DOD school in Okinawa, JP. We leave on the 12th of August. That being said I will be even more of a fixture on HI (possible?) as soon as we get over there, get a house, and get internet (in that order). I'll be a bit scarce on here starting August 6, through whenever the last of the above prioritized list is fulfilled. At that time, you will be sick of looking at pictures of Okinawa I suspect, because I will be posting a lot of them.
Please post plenty of pictures of your seasons this year. I will be living vicariously through this site for my hunting seasons for the forseeable future. Thanks to all of you for making this site a virtual home. Even if we can't agree on which dipstick to put in the oval office, I share an unfettered love of the outdoors with everyone on this site and appreciate each and every one of you.
Even Deertracks.
(just kiddin, especially Deertracks)
Regards,
Mr. Miyagi (chicobrownbear)

Chico, As I said in my PM to you, I wish you and your wife the very best in this. I'm sure this is a decision that was made after a LOT of thought and prayers. This will be quite an adventure for both of you. Thank God for Al Gore inventing the internet as you will still be a very BIG part of this site. On the bright side, this might be your chance to take up that Sumo wrestling.. Take care and God speed. WW

I've been to Japan a couple times. Very very modernized but couldn't get used to the food. Nothing like the Japanese food here. I'm just not into raw stuff Maybe we'll have to ship you venison jerky survival packages.

Good luck over there Chico..... I know you will have a great time... and think of it this way.... while you may miss out on a few deer and turkey seasons.... I am sure they have game over there to hunt.... so you will be able to kill exotic game that we have not even heard of.

Good luck Chico! Sorry to hear no whitetail or turkey hunting for you, but I've got a hunch they still have waterfowl. ;D
So, I assume she will be teaching at the school?
